Pteranodon walkeri AMNH FR7515 (undescribed) was derived from a sister to the Jenkins skull and phylogenetically preceded the the CMC VP 7203 specimen of Pteranodon.

Distinct from the Jenkins skull, AMNH FR7515 was smaller overall and had a relatively straighter rostrum. The orbit was narrower. The jugal was shorter and anteroposteriorly longer. The rostrum was shallower.
