Pteranodon sp. Tanking-Davis specimen (private collection) is known from one of the largest and most complete skulls and mandibles yet found. Though crushed flat, only the crest and jaw tips are missing. Based on its general appearance, this small-faced specimen with circumorbital bones not breaking the contour of the rostral line appears to be similar to the Pteranodon UALVP 24238 specimen, also from Kansas, now curated in Alberta. |
