Sinornithoides youngi (Russell and Dong 1993, Early Cretaceous, Aptian/Albian, IVPP V9612) is one of the most complete troodontid theropod dinosaurs. It was preserved in a bird-like resting posture. In the LRT it nests close to alzvarezsaurids. Distinct from the predecessor taxa, the rostrum and nares were low, the forelimbs were shorter, the pubis lacked nearly a foot, the pelvis was smaller with a shorter anterior.

Buitreraptor gonzalezorum (Makovicky, Apesteguía & Agnolin, 2005; MPCA 245; Cenomian, earliest Late Cretaceous) nests with the troodontids. The rostrum was long and gracile.

Austroraptor cabazai (Novas et al. 2008; MML-195; Late Cretaceous) is one of the largest troodontids. The skull is low and elongate. The orbit is comma shaped.

Xixiasaurus henanensis (Lü et al. 2010; Late Cretaceous) is a troodontid with 22 maxillary teeth, close to Saurornithoides in the LRT.

Saurornithoides mongoliensis (Osborn 1924; Late Cretaceous) is known from a pretty good skull and post-crania surrounding the pelvis and hind limb
