Dromaeosaurus albertensis (Matthew and Brown 1922, 2m est length) nests with Saurornitholestes in the LRT. The rostrum of Dromaeosaurus is tilted down relative to the occiput and orbit. Only a partial skull and partial pes (= foot) are known.

Saurornitholestes langstoni (Sues 1978, Evans et al. 2014, Currie and Evans 2019; Campanian, Early Cretaceous) is widely considered a troodontid theropod, but here nests with several Chinese taxa (below) derived from Ornitholestes.

Wulong bohaiensis (Poust et al. 2020; Early Cretaceous; D2933) was originally considered a subadult microraptorine and a dromaeosaurid, but here nests among the small troodontids between Buitreraptor and Caihong. Uniquely the coracoid is fenestrated in the middle. The ilium includes a prepubis process. Some feathers are preserved.

Sinusonasus magnodens (Xu and Wang 2006; Early Cretaceous; IVPP V 11527; 1m) was traditionally considered and here nests as a troodontid. The head is relatively short. The feet are large and broad. Toe two had a retractable claw, no larger than the others.

Hesperornithoides miessleri (Hartman et al. 2019; Late Jurassic; WYDICE-DML-001; 90cm) is another partial specimen of a long-legged troodontid.

Caihong juji (Hu et al. 2018; early Late Jurassic; PMoL-B00175; 22 cm snout-vent length) was a transitional taxon between short-snouted Aurornis and long-snouted Buitreraptor. Lacrimal horns and iridescent plumage make this an exceptional find.
