Moschops capensis (Broom 1911, Gregory 1926; 2.7m long, Guadalupian, Late Permian), was derived from a sister to Biseridens and represents a terminal taxon. It had a short tail, raised shoulders and a short neck.

Ulemosaurus svijagensis (Rjabinin 1938; PIN 2207/2; Middle Permian) originally referred to Moschops, this close relative has a taller, more robust circumorbital ring. The teeth were longer and the canine was just slightly larger than the adjoining teeth.

Struthiocephalus kitchingi (Boonstra 1965; S. whaitsi Haughton 1915; Early Tartarian, Middle Permian; SAM 2678, SAM K272, BP M284) originally referred to Moschops, this close relative has a taller, more robust circumorbital ring. The teeth were longer and the canine was just slightly larger than the adjoining teeth.
