Dracoraptor hanigani (NMW 2015.5G.1–2015.5G.11; Martill et al. 2016; earliest Jurassic) was originally nested between Coelophysis and Tawa, perhaps due to the interpretation of a long manual digit 3. A new interpretation indicates 2=3, as in Coelophysis. Known from scraps, this was a generalized theropod not far from the morphology of Marasuchus.
