Cyrilavis colburnorum (Feduccia and Martin 1976, Ksepka, Clarke and Grande 2011; early Eocene, 50 mya) was originally and later considered a small, stem parrot, but here nests as a basal crown neognathid between the most basal crown bird, Megapodius and the collie birds, predatory birds and trumpeters (Psophia).
