Rhamphorhynchus muensteri (Wellnhofer 1975) JME-SOS 4009, no. 62 in the Wellnhofer catalog, was a sister to R. muensteri and phylogenetically preceded R. gemmingi.

The pes was distinctive with a longer metatarsal I, shorter medial digits and longer lateral digits. See R. longiceps for size comparisons. |
