Laquintasaura venezuelae ZDM T6001 (Barrett et al. 2014; Early Jurassic , 200 mya; <1 m in length. was originally considered a basal ornithischian, then a sister to Scutellosaurus. Here it nests basal to Hexinlusaurus, at the base of the ceraptopians. Note the dorsal naris and deep premaxilla. The tooth shape, if it belongs to the premaxilla, is a good match for similar teeth in the Late Jurassic Yinlong.

Hexinlusaurus multidens ZDM T6001 (He and Cai 1983, Barrett, Butler and Knoll 2005) middle Jurassic was described as a basal ornithischian with a single autapomorphy, a laterally concave postorbital. Here Hexinlusaurus was derived from Dryosaurus. It was basal to ceratopians like Yinlong and Triceratops. Originally (He and Cai 1983) called this specimen Yandusaurus.
