Qianichthyosaurus zhoui (Li 1999, Late Triassic, Carnian; IVPP V11839 up to 2 meters) this mid-sized ichthyosaur had a large orbit and short snout.The hind flippers were as large as the fore flippers. Derived from a sister to Parvinatator, Qianichthyosaurus was basal to Phalarodon.
