Micraroter erythrogeois (Daly 1973) Early Permian perhaps 60 cm in length, was an ostodolepid microsaur. Micraroter was derived from a sister to Microbrachis and phylogenetically preceded Batropetes and Rhynchonkos.

Distinct from Microbrachis, the skull of Micraroter had a "shark snout" in which the anterior premaxilla was visible in ventral view. The naris was larger. The cheek was ventrally emarginated , reducing the jugal to a postorbital process and reducing the quadratojugal was reduced to a quadrate process. The teeth were larger. The premaxillary teth leaned posteriorly. Not pineal opening was present. The anterior cervicals were as tall as the relatively smaller skull. No lumbar area of short ribs was present. The scapulocoracoid was well ossified. The pelvis was much larger.
