Ticinolepis longaeva (López-Arbarell, Bürgin, Furrer and Stockar 2016, MCSN 8072, Triassic, 240 mya) has several traits in common with Robustichthys. Smaller eyes and more cheek bones are present. The palatine teeth are long and sharp, not blunt ss in Ticinolepis crassidens.
