After the string of evolutinary steps beginning with Gephyrostegus, there is not much left to produce Homo sapiens, the human being from its predecessor, Australopithecus.

Humans have an enlarged braincase, reduced temporal openings, a reduced snout, a prominent forehead, smaller teeth, a chin, smaller mandible.

The arms are shorter and the legs are longer.
