Keichousaurus hui (Young 1958, Lin and Rieppel 1998) A small pachypleurosaur from the Middle/Late Triassic of China. Some were up to 2.7m in length. Pregnant females gave birth to live young rather than laying eggs. Note the broad ulna.

Dianmeisaurus gracilis (Shang Q-H, Li C and Wu X-C 2017; Middle Triassic, 245 mya) had large eyes, and anteriorly oriented nares. Long teeth radiated from the premaxilla.

Dawazisaurus brevis (Cheng et al. 2014; Middle Triassic, 245 mya) had a short trunk with only 16 vertebrates, small fingers and toes.

Hanosaurus hupehensis (Young 1972, Early Triassic 249 Ma, IVPP V 3231) A small pachypleurosaur from the Middle/Late Triassic of China, known from scattered parts, it was originally described as a thalattosaur.. The occiput was anterior to the quadrates.. A reconstruction has not been attempted. Rieppel (1998) nested Hanosaurus between Keichousaurus and Anarosaurus, but the large reptile tree nests it in the Keichousaurus clade.

A second specimen IVPP V 15911 was described by Wang et al. 2022, preserved articulated in ventral view.
