Aathal specimen and Huaxiapterus corollatus

Sinopterus - Huaxiapterus corollatus (Lü et al. 2006; Early Cretaceous, ZMNH M 8131) is another largely complete specimen with confusing nomenclature. This taxon nests at the base of the Tapejara, basal to the Aathal specimen (below). The pelvis is missing. The sternum is among the largest of all pterosaurs. The cervicals are longer creating a taller pterosaur.

GP2E 9266 assigned to Tupandactylus overall

Tupandactylus navigans? (Beccari et al. 2021, Early Cretaceous, GP/2E 9266) is another largely complete specimen with confusing nomenclature. This taxon nests with the ZMNH M 8121 specimen from China, nor any Crato Formation pterosaurs, nor Tupandactylus. Either this is a case of convergence or sinopterids and tapejarids mixed worldwide.

Sauriermuseum Aathal specimen (unnumbered, Early Cretaceous) is basal to the tapejarids in the LPT, distinct from the other sinopterids that are basal to tupuxuarids.
